Accessibility Information
Power Vendworks aims to make this website accessible and easy to use for all visitors, regardless of how they access it.

Readable Text and Colour Contrast
This website uses a dark background with light text throughout. We have aimed to maintain sufficient contrast between text and background colours to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA requirements (a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text).
Body text uses the Inter typeface at a minimum size of 12px (0.75rem), with most body copy at 14px (0.875rem) or larger. Headings use the Montserrat typeface.
Muted or secondary text (used for supporting copy and labels) may have a lower contrast ratio than primary body text. If you find any text difficult to read, please let us know.
Alternative Text for Images
Meaningful images on this website — including machine photographs and the company logo — include descriptive alternative text so that screen reader users receive equivalent information.
Decorative images and background visuals that do not convey information are marked with empty alternative text (alt="") or hidden from assistive technologies, so they are not announced unnecessarily.
If you encounter an image that appears to be missing a meaningful description, please contact us using the details in the Feedback section below.
Accessible Enquiry Forms and Labels
Both the Venue Partnership enquiry form and the general Contact form have been built with accessibility in mind:
- Every form field has a visible label that is programmatically associated with its input using
for/idattributes, so screen readers announce the field name when the field receives focus. - Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*) and the required attribute is set on the input for assistive technology support.
- The "Machines of Interest" checkbox group uses a
<fieldset>and<legend>so screen readers associate the group label with each individual checkbox. - Privacy acknowledgement checkboxes use native HTML checkbox inputs (visually styled but present in the accessibility tree) so they are operable by keyboard and announced correctly by screen readers.
- The submit button announces a busy state to assistive technologies while the form is being submitted.
- Dropdown fields use native
<select>elements for full keyboard and screen reader compatibility.
If you experience difficulty completing a form, please contact us directly at [email protected].
Mobile and Tablet Compatibility
This website is built with a mobile-first responsive layout. All pages and features are designed to work on smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers.
- Touch targets (buttons and links) are sized to meet minimum recommended dimensions for comfortable use on touchscreens.
- Text scales with browser and operating system font size preferences. Increasing your device's text size should not break the layout.
- The navigation menu collapses to a hamburger menu on smaller screens and is operable by touch, keyboard, and assistive technologies.
- Forms are fully usable on mobile devices, including on-screen keyboards and voice input.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following accessibility limitations and are working to address them:
- Skip navigation link: A "skip to main content" link for keyboard users has not yet been implemented. Keyboard users must tab through the header navigation on every page before reaching the main content.
- Inline form error messages: Error messages displayed on form submission are not yet linked to their respective fields via
aria-describedby. Screen reader users will see the error message but it may not be automatically associated with the specific field. - Muted label contrast: Some supporting text and field labels use a muted colour that may be borderline against the dark background. We are reviewing these against WCAG 2.2 AA contrast requirements.
- No formal audit: This website has not been tested with a full range of assistive technologies or subjected to a formal third-party accessibility audit.
If you encounter a problem not listed here, please tell us using the contact details below.
